I don’t know about you guys but when I was 4 Sesame Street was it, the pinnacle of television broadcasting. I was enthralled by these muppets. They were every bit as real to me as my own parents. While watching them learn to read and count they still managed to deal with real world problems. There was a value structure there that you do not find in other children’s programming very often. Happy, happy birthday, to all my dear old friends at Sesame Street.
