It seems as though a new drink will soon be on the market. Taking inspiration from the popular HBO soap, True Blood will soon be offered retail. Based from the juice of the Blood Orange the carbonated drink has been described as having a crisp, slightly tart, lightly sweet tang, and a deep red color to match the appearance of blood.
I am hearing that the bottle will mimic the show, as well. A 14 oz glass, red tinted bottle will bear the “Tru Blood” logo emblazoned on gold foil with a Japanese Kanji embossing on the neck.
I’ll give it a try, will you?

Sean Bean gets the Throne

HBO has ordered the filming of the adaptation of “game of Thrones written by George R.R. Martin. Sean Bean, will play Lord Eddard Stark in the series. This will be a good character for Bean to play in one way and a bad character in another. I love to see bean play a good guy, he does a great bad guy, but an even better good guy. The drawback is that Sean Bean may be typecasting himself into only playing fantasy characters. I hope he doesn’t work his way down to SyFy movies.

“Game of Thrones” is set in a world where a forty year winter is coming and the Kingdoms led by two families are vying for the “Throne” that will lead to their survival during the long cold winter.

Also starring in the series is Mark Addy, Kitt Harrington, Jack Gleeson and Harry Lloyd. Tom McCarthy is set to direct the series.
