Knoxville Geeks and the Geek Breakfast
The Geek breakfast is a monthly gathering for all the geeks to stop by and chit chat over some coffee and food. It was put together and manitained by Scott Maentz. The JustUsLeeg will definitely be a part of Scott’s Group too. Scott has been to our Tweetups and this is a perfect example of how social media is bringing us together.

Knoxville Social Media Association
The Knoxville Social Media Association was started by the great Katie Allsion Granju as a place for people or groups interested in social media in the knoxville area to get together in person and meet one another. It’s also a great place to learn some of the intricacies of social media.

Knoxville Overground

The Knoxville Overground is a not-for-profit organization working with Knoxville entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals working in the technical fields. President, Alex Lavidge, and his group hosts meetings and lunches with guest speakers and an open workspace to cross-seminate ideas and knowledge to anyone who needs it. Great group.

Double Edge films is run by Jamin Winans and Kiowa Winans. They directed and produced one of our favorite films this year “Ink.” You will be seeing more of them in the world (Knoxville, specifically) and on our site. We adopted them.
